About Yacht Controller

Yacht Controller Australia and New Zealand

Everyone associated with boats either as owners or spectators has experienced problems when manoeuvring in confined spaces especially in port or when mooring. Difficulties often occur in communications between the helm and crew resulting in damage to your own or other vessels and occasionally people.

Installing Yacht Controller eliminates these problems. As Master of your vessel you are able to manage the forward, backward and sideways movements from any part of the boat, using the tumbler switches to control both forward and reverse on both engines and forward and aft thrusters if fitted. The Yacht Controller is very compact and can be fitted on your wrist or worn round the neck so that hands are free to throw ropes and assist in mooring.

The Yacht Controller is always on hand enabling you to correct any adverse movement caused by wind or tide.

Yacht Controller is easy to install

The receiver is compact and simple to install. The instruction manual details exactly how to connect to your existing wiring and the receiver wires are colour coded and in most cases will have matching connectors to fit your particular engine, thrusters and anchor.

Yacht Controller is safe

Should there be a malfunction in the Controller or a breakdown in communications
between the Controller and receiver, then the Controller will emit an acoustic signal, and all functions return to neutral or safe mode. At all times the helm controls will override the Yacht Controller. The Controller's range is limited to the area around your boat and has a unique code to prevent interference from other equipment and similar transmitters on other boats.
